Leda Franklin is an Authorised Master Trainer of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM ® and a Choreographer. She trained as a ballet dancer in England and at the Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City. She started working with Juliu Horvath in 1985, becoming one of the first certified instructors in GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®. Leda taught for seven years at Juliu’s White Cloud Studio, before opening her own studio, Studio Riverside/ Gyrotonic New York, in 1992. After 17 years of owning and running the largest and longest running Gyrotonic Studio in New York, Leda moved back to England in 2008.

She currently teaches every aspect  and all levels of the Gyrotonic system, as well as running Final Certifications Exams.

Leda mostly offers Teacher Trainings in GYROTONIC® (all levels), GYROKINESIS,(all levels), Jump Stretch Board, GYROTONER®, Leg Extension Unit, Archway, The Ladder, Pre & Post Natal Gyrotonic Applications and Gyrotonic Applications for Breast Cancer Survivors. However Leda also still teaches and develops individual programs to a diverse clientele.

Leda also choreographs for her dance theatre company, ‘Interdigitate’, which currently performs in the United Kingdom and Europe.
