Gyrokinesis

Gyrokinesis is the basis of the Gyrotonic System, without the use of equipment. Blending Hatha, Kundalini, and Iyengar yoga with tai chi and dance.

Gyrokinesis works the shoulders, spine and pelvis in three-dimensional circular movements, through sitting, lying and standing positions.

Gyrokinesis releases chronic stiffness, tension, and compression in the joints, creates length and strength through the musculature, and enables greater flexibility throughout the entire body.

The body is cleansed through specific breathing sequences that stimulate the body’s natural energy, invigorating, revitalizing, and strengthening the core and well being of the body as a whole.
